Casa Blai Bonet. Centre de poesia
The Poetry Centre is owned by the Consell de Mallorca, a cultural centre created and managed by the Fundació Mallorca Literària in what was once the home of the poet and storyteller Blai Bonet (1926-1997).
The main building houses the Poeteca, a library exclusively dedicated to poetry, two rooms designed to accommodate writers, artists, researchers and translators in residence, and the Archive, which also specialises in poetry. These spaces are open to the public.
On the other side of the courtyard is the writer's house, on the ground floor of which is a permanent exhibition dedicated to his life and work. On the first floor is the Sala Polivalente, an open-plan room equipped as a temporary exhibition and activity space.
