Wide choice of marinas

Mallorca has more than 40 marinas and yacht clubs scattered along the coast, some of which are world renowned, such as the luxurious Puerto Portals or Puerto Adriano, with impressive yachts moored, exclusive shops with the most international luxury brands, haute cuisine restaurants and nightspots with live music, frequented by the most famous celebrities who visit the island. Other less luxurious marinas, but with first class services and complementary facilities, are the emblematic marinas of Andratx, Pollença, Alcúdia, Sóller and Cala Rajada, to name but a few of the most renowned, which also offer visitors the charm and fishing tradition of the island.

The fact that there are marinas all along the coastline means that you can go round the island with ease. Sailors will have the convenience, security and peace of mind of having a harbour relatively close at hand. In addition, the infrastructure and nautical facilities are constantly being improved to make them high quality marinas.

Each marina or yacht club is unique in terms of the number of moorings and types of services: crane, surveillance, captaincy, fuel, etc., and some of them have a blue flag. However, one common denominator is the commitment to sustainability, which is why the vast majority of Mallorcan marinas and clubs comply with the environmental regulations in force and are increasingly committed to sustainable development.

One of the marinas with the highest capacity and traffic is the marina of Palma. The combination of cargo loading, yachting (the bay of Palma is the setting for some of the most important regattas in the Mediterranean), passenger arrivals and departures, and fishing, is an example of the perfect harmony between tradition and modernity.

In 1998, the Real Club Náutico de Palma was named "Best Yacht Club in Spain" and is a regular haunt of the Spanish royal family when they visit the island.
