Fira sa Pobla Coenta (Spicy Food Festival)
A food fair dedicated to spicy food, a typical condiment in Sa Pobla cuisine.
In mid-September, Sa Pobla's main square becomes the setting for a day dedicated to gastronomy and the most intense flavours. This fair aims to promote spicy food as a hallmark of Sa Pobla cuisine and, at the same time, to open up to new ideas and experiences, both local and foreign, that add variety and creativity.
In addition, the bravest visitors have a unique opportunity: the Mallorca Hot Pepper Eating Championship, a competition only suitable for the most resistant palates and stomachs.
The festival programme includes many other activities for the whole family, with children's activities and a gastronomic exhibition that takes place throughout the weekend.
